DGFT Approvals & Trade Facilitation
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) governs India’s import-export policy framework under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023. IEC Registration
The Importer-Exporter Code (IEC) is a mandatory 10-digit business identification number for any entity involved in importing or exporting goods and services from India. IEC registration is typically processed within 3–5 working days when documentation is complete. ACPL ensures accurate submissions for swift processing.
SCOMET Licensing
DGFT manages the SCOMET list — India’s control regime for dual-use items, strategic materials, and sensitive technologies. The 2025 revision aligned the SCOMET list with the latest Wassenaar Arrangement proposals, streamlining access for verified exporters while maintaining national security obligations. ACPL navigates this complex landscape for pharmaceutical intermediates, laboratory equipment, and technology transfers.
